Guretta M. Caten, 96, of Logan, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born April 18, 1913 in New Freeport, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Robert E. and Cressy Wright McNeely. Guretta was the widow of the late Lewis A. Caten.
She is survived by a daughter, Jerilea Caten of Lancaster; a nephew, Robert (Judy) McNeely; nieces, Kathryn (Perry) Watson and Denise (Mike) Huggins all of Hundred, West Virginia; two great nieces; five great nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Guretta was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Jay McNeely.
Guretta's wishes were to be cremated. Private graveside services will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Cheryl Foulk officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
