Frank S. Kasler, 57, of Millfield, passed away Friday, January 29, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born December 13, 1952 in Athens County, son of Betty Barnhart Kasler and the late Robert W. Kasler.
Frank was a member of the Amvets Post #53 in Chauncey.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim (John) Oehlers of Millfield; girlfriend, Mary Jane Chorniak of Millfield and brothers, Robert (Charlene) Kasler of Logan and Ted (Jane) Kasler of Chauncey.
In addition to his father, Frank was preceded in death by a son, Robert William Kasler and three brothers, Ronnie, George and Gary Kasler.
Franks wishes were to be cremated. Private graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46, Fayette St., Nelsonville on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville 45764, to help with funeral expenses.
