Gordon Keith Wend, 72, of Nelsonville, passed away February 19, 2010 in Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born July 22, 1937 in Nelsonville, son of the late Custer Wend and Ruth Deer Wend Auflick. Gordon was married to Barbara Aspaugh Wend who survives.
Gordon was a Marine Corps Veteran.
He is survived by a son Brian (Cristina) Wend of Lake Forrest, CA; a daughter April (Dave) Hart of Laguna Hills, CA; five Grandchildren, two brothers Grayson (Edith) Wend of Trenton, MI, and Gerald (Brenda) Wend of Athens, and a sister Mildred (Joe) Andrews of Nelsonville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Gary Wend.
Gordons wishes were to be cremated, and there will be no services.
Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
