Joseph George Mason, 89, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Logan Health Care Center. He was born December 20, 1920 in Buchtel, son of the late Frank and Garnet Norman Mason. Joe was the widower of the late Pauline Magle Mason.
He graduated from Logan High School, retired from General Hocking Brick in 1986, was a WWII Air Force Veteran and was faithful a member of Fellowship United Brethren Methodist Church.
Joe is survived by a stepson, Stephen R. (Joyce) Cheshier of Jasper, Georgia; step grandsons, David Cheshier of Atlanta, Georgia and John (Jennifer) Cheshier of Acworth, Georgia and two step granddaughters, Moriah and Rebekah Cheshier.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Homer (Louise) Mason.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, February 27, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in Fellowship Cemetery, Hocking County. No visitation will be held.
