Mabel E. Jones, 99, of Logan, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born February 7, 1911 in Hocking County, daughter of the late William A. and Bessie E. Ruff Wolfe.
She was a retired caregiver and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mabel was a loving and caring mother and left her family with many cherished memories. She was blessed with many wonderful caregivers in the last years of her life.
Mabel is survived by a son, Victor (Karen) Jones of Logan; daughters, Polly (Russell) Howdyshell and Nancy (Stephen) Abram both of New Straitsville; eleven grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W. Jones; a brother, Kenneth Wolfe and a sister, Betty Hughes.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.
