Jeri,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. You were so close to her like I was with my Mother. Cherish the memories that you have of her. Trust me there will never be a day that you do not think of her.

She was a great neighbor and friend to my Mother.

Call if there is anything I can do to help.

Dear Jeri,
I have been reading all these wonderful tributes to your mother and to the abiding friendship that you two shared. You have so much love surrounding you today! It was an honor to be with you at the ending days of your mother's life. I regret that I never knew her, but I feel that I also can see in you her warmth, and sparkle. May God continue to hold you close in his love. Your friends at First United Methodist Church, Lancaster are praying for you. Our love and care, Pastor Cheryl

What a beautiful lady Great Aunt Guretta was! I remember the red suit and hat she wore to our wedding and will treasure her thoughtful, little notes to us over the years. You two had a precious relationship, and I pray the sweet memories you had together are of great comfort and joy. Know that you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Julie Watson

Jeri:
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. As I lost my own mother in October after a very long illness, I know how difficult it is even though it is anticipated. We can take comfort in knowing they are no longer suffering, and delight in the good memories we shared with them until we meet again. With sincere sympathy,

Aunt Guretta was a wonderfully ornery lady full of life and laughter. Visiting with her, hearing her stories, and calling her family has been a privilege. I send my love to her in Heaven.

Dear Friend,
There are many wonderful ways to describe your mother but "delightful" comes to mind first. It's a blessing to have met her and I look forward to hearing many more stories about her life. I know your memories will bring you great comfort in the days ahead. May God continue to bless you!

Hi Jeri: Your loss is also ours. I will surely miss little Greta's jokes, quick wit and love. I am so glad to have known her. But she lives on in you and I do see glimpses of her now & then. You sure were the light of her life and you couldn't have been a more wonderful daughter to her. Let the wonderful memories fill your heart.
Love and prayers to you dear Friend.

Jeri,
After hearing and reading so many wonderful tributes to your mother, I feel her loss much more personally, adding to the sadness I feel for you already. Guretta sounds like my kind of gal! I know that we see her in you, and will keep her memory just as cherished as our friendship with you.

Dear sweet Jeri,
How very blessed I am to have known your mother. You two were not only mother and daughter, you were each others best friends. "Little G" what a special lady! I'll never forget her! I can only imagine the void you must be feeling, please give yourself time to heal. What a wonderful celabration they must be having in heaven. Do you think she's busy, playing bridge or being her ornery self? What wonderful memories you are blessed with. She's now home with her Heavenly Father, I know of no better place to be.
My heartfelt sympathy.
In Love,
Your sister in friendship, Sue
